Below are books that were originally traditionally published as paperback books by Patricia Kay over the last 30 years. After Patricia received the rights to publish these books as e-books, Web Crafters assisted with scanning and formatting the new books and then designing competely new covers under new book titles.
AUTHOR KATHRYN SHAY
We've been privileged to partner with Kathryn Shay to design covers for five series and one standalone book. To keep costs down, Kathryn searches for and purchase the images for her couples. We take it from there and design the overall series cover look by choosing fonts, colors, layout and background images for each cover.
AUTHOR LINDA BARRETT
Web Crafters' first cover for Linda Barrett was The Soldier and the Rose, which she requested in both e-book and print versions. From there, we designed the last book in her Sea View House series. Recently, Linda asked for 5 covers (ebook and print) for her new Ordinary Family series, which are all set in major cities, including Houston, which is Shelley Kay's home town.
AUTHOR VK SYKES
Web Crafters designed four books for VK Sykes' Philadelphia Patriots series (along with a boxed set), two covers for their Vegas Hearts series and one book cover for their Brides Bay series, including a print cover.
AUTHOR LOIS DYER
We designed four book covers from start to finish for Lois Dyer's Montana Men series as well as one for her Colson Montana books, a historical cover under the pen names of Emma Sloane and Stephanie Sloane (co-written with her daughter), one cover for her McFadden Family novels and one standalone book.
AUTHOR JEANE WESTIN
Author Jeane Westin's unique historical books were challenging and fun to design. One of the biggest challenges in designing historical book covers is finding authentic photos to use. Web Crafters was up to the challenge and used a mix of stock photography and public domain images to create Jeane's covers.
AUTHOR CHERYL REAVIS
Web Crafters worked with Cheryl Reavis to create an overall brand for her five book covers, including a two-in-one.
AUTHOR DENISE HUNTER
Web Crafters worked with Denise Hunter to create three book covers consistent with her overall branding.
AUTHOR TINA LEONARD
Web Crafters worked with Tina Leonard to create an overall brand for her Star Canyon series as well as three covers consistent with the brand.
AUTHOR ROSEMARY STEVENS
Rosemary Stevens supplied Web Crafters with an old black and white photo to create a series of covers for her Beau Brummel Mystery series. We were tasked with using the same image across the covers with varying colors. The original photo did not have a usable glove, so we integrated a different glove and made it fit seamlessly into the original photo. This series is a good example of covers designed with a smaller budget in mind.
AUTHOR ANJALI BANERJEE
Anjali provided Web Crafters with the images and a proposed sketch of what she wanted and we were asked to put together the design she envisioned.
